As we pray, I request special prayer for our daughter, Caitlin and her son Liam, and for Nellie and I; we are traveling down to Corpus Christi to attend to some family matters. May the Lord bless you for your willingness to pray. Pray for one another, pray for yourselves.
This is a hymn we just read in the psalm. It is a praise song, praising and thanking God for HIs steadfast love and the width and depth and ginormous of that love that knows no end and overcomes all barriers. Yes, it speaks of God's judgement, but it is a merciful one, shown to us who show mercy and who show love. There are no international boundaries, God's love is for all people, and all people who wish, can find shelter and protection in God. The feast of righteousness is for all people, and we can eat to our fill.
And the key verse for us, is that in God, we have the fountain of life. In God, we have the abundance of light - no more darkness for us. And the prayer that ends this song, Continue to love us with that amazing steadfast love, and to share Your salvation to those who desire it.
PRAYER: Loving God, Your steadfast love is awesome; cover us with it and let us bask in it, but then let us share it. Guide our steps to faithfulness and fruitfulness. This we pray in Christ Jesus! Amen.
