MIDWEEK PRAYER

Good day dear friends.
Here is our study guide for today:
Make this a midweek day of prayer. Pray about your financial part of your life. Is it where you need to be? It is not a sin to be rich, but it is a sin to let your possessions possess you. Ask God to help you get deeper into a worship relationship with God.
Good morning dear God. It is a beautiful morning born in refreshment because of the rain You provided yesterday evening here in Dallas. It washed and renewed the earth and we pray Your Spirit do the same for our souls. The beauty of early morning gives me hope found only in You and Your presence with us. I pray for the safe travel of those who are still arriving today for this jurisdictional conference. I pray the strong presence of Your Holy Spirit that He guide our deliberations and decisions. May all we do glorify You.
Lord, many have their thoughts on money. Given this week's theme it seems only appropriate that we have You on our mind and in our hearts as we face the uncertainty of the economy. The evening news shocked us with the local story of a young woman robbed at her place of business by an armed and masked robber, only to have the wind blow away his cover, and she discovers it is her own father. Later this poor woman finds out that her mother and her own husband might have been involved in trying to hold up the place where she worked. Lord, grant your peace and mercy on those worried about money. Help us to see beyond those fears to that which really matters.
We are blessed, help us to count our blessings. We are loved, help us count the ways. We are protected, help us to protect others, especially our loved ones. Let us, let me, be a blessing to You and to Yours.
Holy God, how awesome is Your love and presence on the earth.
I pray this prayer of faith in Jesus' precious Name, amen.
Have a great and blessed day in the Lord!
