Good day dear friends.
Here is our study guide as prepared for us by Pastor Katy, who preached in my absence this past Sunday:
Make this a midweek day of prayer. Pray about different ways that God may be calling you to partner in service efforts, and pray for the strength to take action.
Good day dear Father. We heard about "hurricanes of the soul" by our children's director yesterday, and today our attention is on Hurricane Dolly that is set to make landfall in a couple of hours. We are one mile away from Dolly becoming a category two and the folks on tv are predicting that will happen. Lord, You control the seas and our prayer is for protection for all who are in the path of this storm. We pray that no one be found homeless during this storm. Please lead all who are without shelter to a shelter. We are almost certain that after the storm opportunities will present themselves for us to partner with others in repair and recovery efforts. Lord, be glorified in our lives today. We pray in Jesus' Name, amen.
